During the last 30 years, Pagmat’s support and quality improvement policies have tripled the area of vineyards around and increased the premium quality crop amount by more than four times.

The company’s inventive approach has procured Thomson type raisins, never grown before yet managing a yield amount of 35,000 tonnes per season.

Pagmat’ on-site quality management of vine growing takes the crop quality up to supreme level. Purchasing almost the entire harvest after aprecise quality inspection and, Pagmat closely supports more than 2,000 contracted fine growers.

Agrochemicals management all year round

Pagmat’s agronomist regularly visits contracted growers’ vineyards from April to harvest and advises the best way to improve the quality of the crop, or prescribes a course of action to prevent against seasonal phytopathological risks.

Pagmat supports the training of growers continuously in all ways either by or the government agronomists avoiding use of any agrochemicals even certified unless necessary due to seasonal reasons and have been prescribed by agronomists.

This agrochemical management ensures that Pagmat’s raw materials strictly comply with the Food Safety Act 1990 and subsequent legislations as well as various EU and intercontinental Regulations concerning contaminants, residues, food additives and treatment.

Delivery and warehousing with full traceability

Pagmat never allows growers to store raw material in their premises and stipulates raw material warehousing in its own facilities under premium storage conditions.

Knowing the source of every pack you buy, Pagmat’s purchasing and quality assurance experts control the crop twice. After the endorsement, raw material is transferred to own warehouses with extreme care.

With white-zone system, the warehouses are cleaned daily and rigorously inspected by technicians using the correct protective measurements for pest control and hygiene.
